Many Thanks and What’s Happening in 2026

Well, Happy New Year everyone!

It’s honestly crazy to me that we’re already nearly at the end of January, where has all that time gone? January always feels like such a fresh start, but at the same time it somehow flies by in the blink of an eye. I guess time really does fly when you’re busy… and this month has definitely been busy.

Speaking of being busy, I’ve had so many sewing jobs lately. Some big, some small, some easy, and some challenging (which I absolutely love by the way). I really enjoy the variety that comes with sewing; no two projects are ever the same, and that’s something I value so much. One day I might be working on something simple, and the next I’m problem-solving and figuring out how to make something work and that creative challenge is such a big part of why I love what I do.

If I haven’t been at the café working, I’ve been sewing. Balancing the two has kept me on my toes, but sewing really is my happy place. After a busy shift, sitting down at my machine, putting a video on for background noise, and getting lost in a project is honestly the best feeling. It’s where I feel calm, creative, and completely in my element.

With all of that, I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported Just Sew By Holly so far. Whether you’ve come to me for sewing jobs, shared my page, recommended me to someone else, or simply followed along , it truly means the world to me. Supporting a small business in any way, no matter how big or small it might seem, makes such a difference, and I’m so incredibly grateful for it.

Now, what’s in store for Just Sew By Holly in 2026? A lot. To be specific, I’ve put together a list of business goals that I’d love to work towards this year. Some of them are simple, and some of them are definitely pushing my limits, but running a small business isn’t meant to stay within one’s comfort zone. I’m learning that growth often comes from trying things that feel a little bit scary, and I’m excited to see where that takes me.

My big goal for 2026 is to get my Etsy store up and running and start selling my little goodies. Things like lanyards, hand towels, scrunchies, and more. These are the kinds of items I genuinely love making, practical and handmade pieces that still feel special. The idea of sending something I’ve made out into the world for someone else to enjoy is something that excites me so much.

I don’t have everything perfectly planned out, and I don’t think I need to. Right now, my focus is on continuing to sew, learn, and enjoy the process. I want Just Sew By Holly to grow in a way that feels sustainable, creative, and true to me. As long as I’m enjoying what I’m doing and staying passionate about it, I know I’m heading in the right direction.

Thank you again for all the support so far. I’m really looking forward to what the rest of this year has in store, and I can’t wait to keep sharing this journey with you.

Enjoy the pics of what I've been doing recently,
